Saturday Hockey: Nov 14, 21; Dec 5, 12, 19; Jan 2, 9, 16, 23, 30; Feb 6, 13, 20, 27; Mar 6, 13

WHERE: John A. Ryan Arena, 1 Paramount Place, Watertown.
COST: $500 base cost; Discounts for siblings are provided. In the event that sessions are cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, prorated refunds will be provided.
LOGISTICS: Skaters will participate in a 40-minute skating lesson each Sunday at either 12:20 or 1 pm. Once a start time is selected, skaters cannot change their designated session without permission from the Sharper Edge instructors and Watertown Youth Hockey. Players will be assigned to a 50-session for hockey skills/games on Saturdays starting at 9:20 or 10:20 depending on their age and experience.
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, only 1 spectator will be allowed in the rink with each participant. Participants and Spectators must wear face coverings at all times at the rink, maintain social distancing, and follow additional rink guidelines. Refer to WYH's COVID-19 procedures for additional information.
USA HOCKEY REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED. USA Hockey registration is free for children born in/after year 2014 and $46 for children born before year 2014.
HOW TO DRESS: Full hockey equipment is required.
- Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, all players must wear a face covering at all times while at the rink.
- Hockey helmet with full face/shield (HECC approved) - For the safety of your child, an ICE HOCKEY HELMET (with a cage) must be worn at all times.
- Hockey pants
- Shin guards
- Elbow pads
- Hockey gloves
- Hockey skates
- Shoulder pads
- Hockey stick
- Athletic Supporter
- Throat protectors - OPTIONAL BUT RECOMMENDED
- Mouth guards - OPTIONAL (WYH typically recommends mouth guards but given the face covering requirement (see below), safe management of a mouth guard may not be feasible.
